Who We Are
Residential and hospitality design firm rooted in the belief that interiors are a means for reflecting and shaping our inner and outer worlds.
We aim to create environments that foster experience and imagination, sanctuary and refuge. A haven, from the wild of the outer world. Through dedication to function and the human experience, WHDC hand crafts environments that forge a lasting, and impactful relationship between user and space.
Blending her imagination, artistic aptitude, and her desire to help clients’ navigate the daunting process of building or remodeling a home, Jamie guides her client’s through the design journey with insight and heart.
A huge fan of pushing the boundaries of what is “in”, she assists clients in honing their own unique style, exploring new ideas and materials, and bringing harmony, balance, curiosity and interest to every space.
After graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in Interior Design and Communications, Jamie went on to study Architecture at the Masters level at the University of Colorado Denver. After working closely with architectural documentation and building code in Colorado, she moved back home to California to round out her technical and functional knowledge of interiors.
When she’s not churning out designs and wrangling subcontractors, Jamie likes to take it easy with her small colony of beloved animals (3 goats, 2 sheep, 3 cats, 1 dog), hang out by the Russian River, campout under the starry sky, and read as many books as her focus will allow.
